Sherry Lynn Womack Passionate To Serve the Country

Sherry Lynn Womack is a remarkable woman and has an illustrious and unblemished career. She is known as staunch retired Lieutenant Colonel Army professional from the United States. She never dreamed about success, she works for it.

From an early age she wanted to serve the nation, so with that intention, she joined Army as a physician assistant. She is retired soldier, patriot, and public servant and a good orator. She tells exactly what she thinks, even if it gets her into trouble. She believes that future can be better than the present and she has the power to make it so. She is using his time, treasure and passion for making a difference.

She actively served the nation for 33 years as being part of US Army and after getting retired she continued to serve its nation. Currently, she occupies herself as a member of the North Carolina Social Services Commission, a member of the Lee County School Board, as a missionary to the Jamaican Deaf Village for the Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf, where she teaches the sewing trade to deaf villagers; and is an active member of the Lee County Republican Party.

Sherry Lynn Womack was the first woman among the Army medical providers designated to work and support especially for the women and children because of the sensitivities of religion and culture restrictions existing in Afghanistan.

She made stupendous efforts to improve the living of poor people. She is a humanitarian and legitimately concerned about the children of Lee County School Board. She contributed in school system with the belief that it should be repurposed. She did many endeavors for it; she presumes that her challenge is make the public schools so valuable that people would want to come here. She has astounding record of achievement with many military, unit and professional awards which she obtained her Army career. Afghanis trusted and respected her for being a lady fighting for improvisation of the poor people living in Afghanistan. Her strenuous efforts of several years create Army Female Engagement Team (FET). This team along with Cultural Support Teams (CST) have supported and secured the livelihood of the women and children.

Sherry Lynn Womack has achieved several military awards, professional recognition, and medals. She is a leader and motivator par excellence. She is result-driven professional with diverse work experience and is adept in policy formation and streamlining processes for effective implementation. She is generous personality experience in medical education, complex decision making, and organizational leadership. She has a strategic vision and ability to utilize the vast experience of planning, execution and management.
